9/18/09 Car Fire- At 17:25 hrs, DTVFC along with DTVAC were dispatched to a working car fire in Pocono Mountian Lake Forest on Carbiou Road. When units arrived, crews made quick knockdown of the fire. Units were placed back into service at around 18:00 hrs. Units Assigned- Engine 1, Engine 2, Tanker, A286 9/21/09- Structure Fire- At 10:46 hrs, DTVFC and DTVAC were dispatched to a Structure Fire at 204 Silver Lake Road. When 28-2 arrived on scene, he reported fire was out and was only contained to the kitchen stove. Units checked area with the thermal imager and found nothing. United were placed back into service at around 11:30 hrs. Units Assigned: Engine 1, Engine 2, A287 9/22/09- MVA- At 12:46hrs DTVFC was requested by 28-3 for traffic control on Route 2001 in the area of hte Hollow. Upon arrival of units, EMS was called to treat patient on scene. Units operated on scene for about an hour and returned ot service at 2:00 hrs (SEE PHOTO GALLERY FOR PICTURES) Units Assingned: Engine 1, A286
All members are requested to help out with the rescue for the upcoming parade next weekend in Sussex County. We will be at the firehouse this Saturday after the wetdown, Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Any questions, contact 28-5.
The rescue will be located at the Main Station untill after the parade.
Engine 1 is back out of service until further notice.
